Microneedling is also known as Collagen Induction Therapy.

Collagen Induction Therapy assists in the rejuvenation of the epidermal integrity resulting in the improved appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, acne scarring, surgical scarring, enlarged pores, and stretch marks. As microneedling does not deliver heat to the skin, people who have melasma and hyperpigmentation can also undergo Microneedling without the risk of worsening pigmentation problems.

Collagen Induction Therapy is also proven to be effective for men and women with all Fitzpatrick Skin Types I - VI.

So, now we know what it can treat, we need to know how!

Microneedling creates thousands of micro punctures to your skin per second. Essentially, these micro injuries will work by stimulating your body's natural skin healing power to increase collagen and elastin. Leaving your skin looking healthier with a more youthful appearance.

Collagen Induction Therapy works between 3 phases -

Phase I - Inflammation

The micro injuries of the skin triggers an immune response which increases blood flow and initiates new tissue formation

Phase II - Proliferation

The area treated experiences new growth of collagen and elastin, as well as a new network of blood vessels.

Phase III - Remodeling

Growth in the previous two steps leads to new dermal tissues, blood vessels and collagen for a healthier complexion.

Ideally you will have 3-6 treatments at monthly intervals, you will love the results, your skin will be thicker and healthier, which will improve the results of other wrinkle reduction and volume enhancing treatments. Still not sure? Check out the before and after photos below! The results are amazing! Book a consultation and get your treatments started.
